On birth events, they do not put in the baby name. The name is most often the mother, but there were stretches where they posted the father’s name for the birth announcement.

The consular records can lead to a small paragraph about the person and why the Polish Consulate is seeking that person — which leads to the birth village often and sometimes residences or familial relationships.
